Pogo Films Ltd has been set up to operate in two distinct ways. To operate and run our edit suites for hire and profit and to use this as a support for our ongoing development and production slate.
You will see from our REEL that we have a history in short form production, and this continues still. But our targets now are for the production of feature material. To this end we have several films in development.
SPIRIT
Running below the streets of London flows the ancient river of The Fleet. But student, Beth, discovers there's more than water in it's subterranean passages as she comes face to face with an ancient spirit and is forced to question her own views on belief and faith.
A low budget, ghost frightener set in the centre of the City of London.
THE BLACK WELL
The grim and shakespearean events of the first world war come back to haunt a surprised inheritor of a Swiss Estate. This is a subtle, psychological ghost flick from Philip Richardson.
We are exploring another darker genre, the ghost film. Avoiding too many cliches, we are going to place this 1970's set film firmly in the tingling, "what was that?" park of the genre!
SAINT ANTHONY'S FIRE
A relaxing break for a family in the mountains of France takes a turn for the surreal as the remote village they discover turns into a hallucinogenic hell.
Written by Olivier Lauchenauer and taking a factual event as a start point, Pogo Films will weave a strange a surreal world around a desperate attempt by a father to protect his failing family. Sex, drugs and mountain air!
THE DELIVERERS
A traditional family pizza company and a corporate giant, fight a pizza delivery war on the streets of North London. It’s the BATTLE OF BRITAIN meets the GODFATHER, on mopeds!
Pogo Films Ltd has been developing this higher budget project for some time. It is written by Philip Richardson and we are seeking assistance in development costs to move the script through further revisions.
