THE END OF JF

JFHim

This short film by Stephan Hammes, produced by Lazarus Films, was scanned and then posted DI at Pogo by Jamie Dickinson. Various challenges were overcome along the way, but now completed succesfully. The story goes;

Set in the back of a London black cab. The film follows JF and his assistant Ann as they return from delivering the annual presentation to the board of their biggest client. A presentation that should not of caused any major issues for such a successful account manager and his team.

JFHer

Had it not been that JF had made a subconscious blooper on the presentation that might put his career and the future of his staff and agency at risk. They make their escape and Ann interrogates JF on what had happened at the presentation. JF seemingly dumbfounded looks deeply within himself to try and find an answer. As the cab ride progresses JF’s anxiety about his situation increases and as the cab travels through a tunnel beneath the river Thames his anxiety turns into a full-blown panic attack.

Sometimes, it is only when you reach rock bottom, that you have the clarity to see things as they really are and even after a last minute opportunity to save his career. JF realises the problems with his life didn’t begin with the presentation but they could end with it.
