3 Minute Afghan Shorts After much hard work, both here and in Afghanistan, our 3 Minute Wonders 'The Film Makers of Kabul' were broadcast on Channel 4 this week (2nd week April). A co-production between Carbon and Tricycle Theatre as part of their Afghanistan 'The Great Game' season. These films are unique in that they have been made by Afghan film makers on the ground in Kabul.
Under Taliban rule in Afghanistan, photography was banned. Still an unstable country in turmoil, filmmakers now have the opportunity to tell their stories through the medium of film and we're delighted to have collaborated with these film makers on this project.
Matt Grimwood said: Not the easiest project to facilitate but we've had a lot of help along the way. I'd like to especially thank Pogo Films who have been especially helpful in regards to the post production of these films.
