Our Team

OLIVIER LAUCHENAUER
Managing Director

Oli I am originally Swiss but have lived in various European countries and could say that I’m a European cocktail. After learning about Kilts and Haggis I returned to Switzerland to study design at Art Centre College of Design in Montreux and I ended up working in the great plastic world of Advertising for various agencies in Zurich.

Fortunately, my passion for film was given a lucky break at the London Film School where I met Phil. In 1999, we founded Pogo Films and we have used her as a platform for our passion for the industry. Until Pogo found an office in Soho, I was directing music videos and commercials in Europe but now I am happily immersed in the world of Post production and delighted to be involved in the fascinating digital revolution that is going to change the way we make and distribute films.

PHILIP RICHARDSON
Managing Director

PhilPost production is my professional back bone. For many years I worked at the BBC in post, particularly in the field of online completion of Current affairs programmes such as Panorama, Correspondent and Newsnight. Our remit there was to produce excellent results in Graphics and effects to a strict deadline and using a wide variety of equipment.

In parallel with a television career is my fervent passion for feature film. This has led to training in all aspects of film work at the London Film School, the writing and direction of many shorts, ads and development of several feature projects. This is an ongoing and “watch this space” part of my life.

When Olivier and I created Pogo Films Ltd we were both fortunate enough to draw upon a wide variety of skills and knowledge. I am delighted to be able to apply all of my experience and unbearable enthusiasm to making our company much more than just another post house.

ROB DIXON
Design Editor & Colourist

Rob DixonHaving studied Illustration and Animation at Manchester School of Art I was enticed over to the world of film and video, where I started work at Pogo Films. I have experience of working on many different projects at Pogo – this varied skill set ensures that I maintain great client relations and professional standards.

I still love to draw and come up with new animations as my background is an illustrator and animator. This fits brilliantly into my work at Pogo and gives me a very creative view on an online, graphics and even in the narrative of an offline edit.

ANNABEL TARRANT
Production Assistant

AnnabelAfter graduating with BA History from the University of Nottingham, I left the UK for the sunnier climes of Jamaica. There, I worked in adventure tourism setting up Jamaica’s first paintball field – and was executive assistant to TV’s Mr. Motivator. Returning to London in 2011, I happily settled into life as the newest addition to Pogo.

My first experiences of production was on camera as a teen news presenter – and getting custard-pied on a Chuckle Brothers gameshow at aged 10! Luckily since then, I’ve gained experience in several fields including research, marketing, lifestyle and events management. I am now enjoying putting my varied skills and enthusiasm to use in bringing Pogo’s productions to life.
